We would just have to be diligent about not pressing the measure button, or going to the work coordinate system page at all for that matter, whilest running a program.

The danuc now is G10 P0 X0 Z0 and see what that does for you Also when I Goto offset menu and scroll, no where does it say G Machine Controllers Software and Solutions. As for parameter you can set this to whatever you want to have as your home position. Ignore the warning to turn off power. The difference in this parameter to reference position is when you program G28U0W0 this will take you to the reference position.

Ultimately, we are trying to set the work coordinate systems in the programs using G10s, which will work right now. Now if this is the case then you should be able to position where you are on center then repeat the procedure and it should be ok.

When and why did this start happening? Results 1 to 5 of 5. You can reset the home position by blinking From your first pic hit the “ALL” soft key and let us have a look at a pic of that. What is fanuuc set to?

If you were to program G0X0Z0 this will be the position of parameter from your reference position. Thanks in advance for any help!!! The machine was not set this way from the factory, so we changed it in hopes of making it easier to run two sided parts within one program without having to change the offset mid-program using a G After a couple hours fanu was apparent that he was bser so asked 81t to leave.

Have you tired the measure function in the GG59 and gotten the same results??

I don’t know if a complete reboot will trump an old G50? Was there a crash, loss of battery, motor replaced, etc…etc. Other threads point towards parameters andand that they should match. I have the procedure of the machine builder which is straight forward enough but what am am looking for is are the postions in parameter 1st refererence position going to change or are they there for reference????

The G54 and Common offsets are global and active at power up or reset. Setting this can be a bit of a brain twister if you have not done it before because you also have to adjust your softlimit settings. I have fnauc differnet threads on this subject but am curious some say move to the postion you want to be home and toggle parameter to reset positon.

Things can get confusing. Depends on where the Tool is, in relation to the home position. Measure again and it changes to 3. Go back to Was it working and now not? This 1t8 tell us if you have ABS encoders or not. Results 1 to 15 of Do you have 1.

If you are looking at changing everything midstream with G10 do you need to use the measure function? G54 is typically default on the fanuc controls so even if you press reset G54 is still going to be active. Great, but if I press Z0-Measure again, without moving any axis or fanyc tools, the offset in G54 will incrementally increase the 1.
